Hey there,

I’m Jourdan.

I’ve done some things.

The path here

For 16+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of Brand, Creative, and Production. My career took shape at Wieden+Kennedy and 72andSunny, followed by TBWA\Media Arts Lab working on iPhone, and stops at Mirimar and Mekanism before moving in-house at Upwork.

I came up on big brands and integrated campaigns — learning what it takes to protect an ambitious creative idea from strategy through execution. Over time, my role expanded beyond making the work happen to shaping the teams, partnerships, and ways of working that allow great creative to thrive.

Most recently at Upwork, I helped build and operationalize its internal creative studio, creating the systems, resourcing models, and cross-functional partnerships that connected creative work to company growth.

My approach

I learned the business through the work.

Making ambitious creative taught me that great ideas are only part of the equation. You need trust between the people in the room, clarity on what you're solving, and systems that support the work without getting in its way.

One of my favorite W+K-isms is "walk in stupid every day." Come curious, ask questions, listen before you solve. Strong leadership means having a point of view without assuming you have all the answers — I create space for people to challenge assumptions and find the right answers together.

I'm a problem solver at heart: I think in systems, look around corners, and build relationships that navigate ambiguity and keep things moving.

And I try to keep it all in perspective. The work matters, but it isn't everything — leading with kindness and taking care of people makes us better leaders, partners, and creative people.
